As they progress through their journey, users are ranked in a global Leaderboard.

* **Daily XP Boosts**: XP earned in the last 24h are increased in accordance to received boost.
* **Increased Seasonal Airdrop Allocations**: your final rank at the end of the season defines the number of SPAACE token rewards contained in your Battle Pass Airdrop! Rank as high as you possibly can!&#x20;

Tournaments are special, limited-time trading events.

They are not always live and do not follow a fixed schedule.

Most current and upcoming tournaments are rewarded in dollars ($SPAACE tokens), but some events may still use XP rewards.

#### What is a Trading Tournament?

A tournament is a short competitive event where traders are ranked based on their BUY trading volume on Spaace during a specific period.

When a tournament is active:

* All eligible BUY trades on Spaace are counted.
* Traders are ranked on a global leaderboard.
* At the end of the event, the leaderboard is frozen and rewards are attributed.

Participation is automatic.

When a tournament is active, all eligible users are automatically included by trading on Spaace.

#### What rewards can I earn?

Most new tournaments distribute rewards in USD value, paid in $SPAACE tokens.

Example:

* “$50,000 in rewards”
* Rewards are calculated in dollars and will be distributed in $SPAACE tokens
* Distribution happens later (not instantly at tournament end)

These tournaments are designed for high-impact competitive events and larger prize pools.

#### How long do tournaments generally last?

Tournaments usually last a few days.

Tournaments are:

* Time-limited
* Not always live
* Not on a fixed schedule

There is no fixed frequency, and the next tournament may start at any time.

#### How does ranking work?

Rankings are based on your total BUY trading volume during the tournament period.

At the end of every season, $SPAACE Airdrops are conducted to **reward XP holders**.

**Players' finals rankings** at the end of each Season **determine their Seasonal Airdrop Allocation**.

As part of your progress in the Spaace Battle Pass, you will earn XP and begin climbing Ranks from Bronze 5 all the way up to Diamond 1.

### Rank Chests

Every time you reach a new rank, you will unlock a Rank Chest: a mystery crate that contains a variety of rewards.

### Ambassador Leaderboard

The Spaace Ambassador Leaderboard is a competitive ranking system reserved for approved Spaace Ambassadors.

Its goal is to reward Ambassadors who actively contribute to the growth of the Spaace ecosystem by referring active users, driving marketplace activity, creating social visibility, and engaging with Spaace features.

Participants are ranked based on a single global score.

Only the top-ranked Ambassadors receive rewards.

#### Who can participate?

Only users with the Ambassador status are eligible:

* if you are not an Ambassador, you will need to apply.
* if you are an approved ambassador, you are automatically eligible for all active leaderboards. No additional registration is required.

The leaderboard is only visible to logged-in Ambassadors.

#### Leaderboard Epochs

Leaderboard epochs run over defined periods of time: when an epoch is live, the end date is clearly displayed.

Epochs are not announced in advance.

Rankings update during the active period.

At the end of the period, rankings are frozen and archived.

#### Epoch Rewards

Each leaderboard runs for a defined period and includes a dedicated reward pool.

Rewards are:

* Paid in $SPAACE tokens
* Reserved for the top-ranked ambassadors only
* Allocated based on final leaderboard position

Only ambassadors who finish inside the reward zone receive token rewards.

Top positions receive a significantly higher share of the reward pool.

Reward pools are communicated in USD for clarity, but payouts are made in $SPAACE tokens once the token goes live.

There is no automatic distribution at the end of a leaderboard period. Final rankings are archived and used for future reward settlement.

#### How ranking works

Each ambassador receives a single global score, expressed in points.

This score is cumulative during the entire leaderboard period.

Every eligible action adds points to your score, and your score only increases while the epoch is active.

Your global score determines:

* Your rank on the leaderboard
* Whether you are inside the reward zone

The score is recalculated regularly as new activity is recorded.

Only the final global score and rank are visible publicly.

If an ambassador has no activity for a given criterion during the period, no points are added for that criterion.

#### Ranking criteria

Rankings are based on five criteria, all measured during the active leaderboard period.

The first three criteria are the main ranking drivers. The last one has a significantly lower impact.

**Primary criteria:**

* Referral volume: The total marketplace trading volume generated by users you referred during the leaderboard period.
* New active referred users: The number of referred users who joined Spaace during the epoch period.
* Social visibility and mindshare: An internal score imported reflecting your reach and distribution on social platforms during the leaderboard period.

**Secondary criteria:**

* Personal trading volume: Your own trading activity on the Spaace marketplace during the leaderboard period.
* XP and ecosystem activity: Your engagement across Spaace features, quests, and ecosystem mechanics during the leaderboard period.

All ranking criteria are refreshed multiple times per hour during the epoch period. The social visibility score is updated less frequently, at least once per day.

#### Relative indicators vs global score

While the global score is cumulative, some performance indicators shown in the interface are relative to other ambassadors.

These indicators help you understand how you compare to others on specific criteria, but they do not affect the cumulative nature of your score.

This means:

* Your points never decrease
* Your relative position or indicators may change as other ambassadors progress

#### Rewards and payouts

Epoch rewards are communicated in USD and paid in $SPAACE tokens.

The amount you receive depends on your final rank. Only a limited number of top-ranked ambassadors receive rewards.

Rewards are distributed when the $SPAACE token goes live. There is no automatic payout at the end of a leaderboard period.


# 100% Revenue Sharing (soon)

Spaace collects a **fee in ETH** on every trade performed on the platform.

Post-TGE, **Spaace will redistribute 100% of the collected fees in ETH to the community**.

Users who sell their token rewards **severely decrease their Token Score** ([see here](/gamification/battle-pass#spaace-score)) and penalize their long run earning prospects, creating a natural incentive to keep or stake tokens.

To maximize our control over the token price on the market, we have designed the $SPAACE tokenomics to be operationally flexible with an ability to algorithmically determine the distribution of Cashback token rewards to ensure an optimized daily distribution.

# Business Model

Spaace charges a **2%** trading fee in **ETH** on all NFT sales performed on the platform.

There are two essential elements to Spaace's business model:

1. Spaace redistributes 100% of its revenue to its community.
2. Spaace rewards traders with daily Cashback rewards that have been designed to more than cover trading fees.

The more tokens a user stakes, the more ETH he will receive (the redistribution is proportional). For instance - if a user represents 10% of the total staking pool, he/she will earn 10% of Spaace's revenue.
